To mark the 450th anniversary of Recorde's death, this is a residential meeting which will be held jointly with WALMATO, the assocation of lecturers and advisers concerned with teacher education and professional development in Mathematics Education in Wales. Speakers will include David Ainsworth, John Davies, John Denniss, Stephen Johnston, Howell Lloyd, Margaret Pelling, Nia Powell, Ulrich Reich, Jackie Stedall, John Tucker and Jack Williams on various aspects of Recorde's life, medicine, and mathematics. The provisional programme and booking form are available: the deadline for registrations is 31 March.
