Commentary

Activity diagrams show actions and their results. These help in implementing methods for the class operations. Activity diagrams are useful to show the activities in a use case scenario. Related to state diagrams. Action states are used. Transition from one action state to another takes place automatically when the action in the action state finishes. Duality: control flows from Object to Object in Interaction diagrams while it flows from Activity to Activity in Activity (& State) diagrams.
