Human Aspects of Computing Research Group
The Human Aspects of Computing research group is concerned with the way in which human and computer-based activities are related, with reference to current practice, historical precedents and potential future developments. The group is organised into two subgroups:
The principal themes represented in our research are:
- computer technologies and practice in their broad historical, social, and cultural context;
- computing and computation in their broad historical and philosophical human context.
- intelligent agents and multi-agent systems, as represented in both formal and empirical approaches to distributed AI ;
- principles and tools to support the learning and teaching process;
