Postgraduate Portal

[c]

Welcome to the Postgraduate Portal at the Department of Computer Science. There are between 40 and 50 postgraduates in the department at any time with variations according to exchange placements, conferences and thesis commitments. These pages contain resources for both existing and prospective postgraduates or anyone interested in the research being conducted by PhD and MSc students at Warwick.

If you want to join Warwick research, information on how to apply is available on our postgraduate admissions pages.

You can access the homepages and email addresses of current postgraduates at the Department of Computer Science People Directory.

If you want to join Warwick for the MSc Taught course, information on how to apply is available on our MSc Computer Science and Applications pages.

If you are already a postgraduate student at CS Warwick, essential information is in the Research Degree Handbook, if you are a research student, and in the MSc Computer Science and Application Handbook, if you are a Taught MSc student. You also might want to use information collected as Postgraduate Resources. Finally, the department stores overall Local Resources, that might be of use to you.

As a postgraduate student at CS Warwick, make your voice heard: the PG SSLC (Postgraduate Student-Staff Liason Committee) is there for you to raise any issues you may have.

For information on financial issues (conference support, declarations, teaching claims, photocopying, etc.) that may concern you as a postgraduate student, visit the CS Financial Matters page.

Warwick Postgraduate Colloquium in Computer Science (WPCCS)

Each year postgraduates in the department organise a two day event to showcase current postgraduate research. With over 40 presentations and talks the event provides postgraduates, staff and external visitors with the opportunity to exchange and collaborate on research topics.
