This is a group movie of a number of Warwick Image and Signal Processing Group members, taken in a picturesque location - the Lab. No prizes for guessing which one is me. The group was formed in 1986 and has concentrated on developing multiresolution signal modelling and analysis algorithms, some of which are detailed in my publication list . Current group members are: Xiaoran Mo, Carlos Reyes, Li Wang, Denis Fan, Chang-Tsun Li, Nasir Rajpoot and Abhir Bhalerao who works in medical image processing. Graham Martin has an interest in multimedia coding.
The group's work over the years has been principally concerned with the modelling and analysis of images and audio signals. If you would like further details, my Research page is the place to go.
I have some teaching material for courses CS403 and CS331 on my aptly named Teaching page.
On the other hand, if you simply like looking at pictures, such as the one here, follow it to my my daughter's home page, temporarily located at this site. She trained at The Slade School of Fine Art in London and has now settled in County Sligo in the north-west of Ireland. It is a magical place, stalked by the ghost of Yeats: the area near where Katy stays is known as "Yeats Country".
If you like poetry, you could try a little Dante or Lorca: two personal favourites. If you want amateur night, try this or this, or even this. More recent stuff in the LA notebook.
And if you like Art in general, then have a look at my favourite paintings not by Katy.
