Good material for a submission here, but as yet not too strong a theme emerging. At one level it's OK for the focus to be on modelling the interaction between cars, but in the context of the module there has to be a theme that relates to EM more specifically. Perhaps you are setting out to demonstrate the (potential) qualities of EM for this kind of modelling exercise, in which case you need to be sure to relate the sort of considerations you are describing to their effective representation in EM. Also good if possible to bring in other references from outside EM - e.g. on discrete event simulation such as has been done in software used in the business school Simulation module etc. The strength of your submission will depend on how far you can highlight special qualities / difficulties in applying EM principles and tools.

In your submission, you've anticipated various simplifications that you intend to make. This is certainly what gets done in conventional model-building (you have to decide how to simplify and abstract before you build any model), but its not so appropriate in the EM context. I wouldn't necessarily assume that you will have to / or set out to / restrict the model in just the ways you describe - what restrictions you need to make should become evident as the modelling proceeds. Likewise, beware of too rigid a style of development, as in 'first LSD specification, then implementation in tkeden'. Generally, the LSD account and tkeden model should be complementary.
