I am a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and the Centre for Complexity Science at Warwick. I am also an Honorary Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical and Experimental Epilepsy, UCL Institute of Neurology, London, and a member of Warwick SBIDER group. The main area of my research is focussed on understanding cellular signalling mechanisms using mathematical/computational modelling. Recently I became interested in understanding the mechanisms of synaptic transmission and how destabilisation of this process causes neurological disorders.
